Born in Denver in 1983, Jeremiah Reeves is a filmmaker and visual artist whose journey spans multiple mediums. After graduating from Pratt Institute and studying abroad in Italy, he began collaborating with galleries and museums as a painter and printmaker. Transitioning to experimental theater, he wrote plays that explore the complexities of the human condition with humor and depth.
His debut feature film, A Stranger on Earth, showcases his unique voice, drawing inspiration from poetry, classical art and personal experience. Currently residing in Kentucky, Jeremiah balances his artistic pursuits with his work as an emergency room nurse, infusing his storytelling with the intensity of real-life experiences. Through his film he invites viewers into a world where art and life intersect, exploring the profound depths of our shared and complex humanity.
